In Group A Germany reached two first wins as they beat Estonia 70-40 and China 91-64. In Group B Canada and Russia improved to 3-0 records each. Russia demolished Mongolia 99-33 as Artem Komolov (194-SG-93) netted 16 points and Zacharov as well as Andrey Desyatnikov (220-C-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) nailed 12 each.
