 Keyron Sheard | The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Marinos (19-7) in Puerto Ordaz on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked Gigantes (7-15) 90-86. Marinos trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 26-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 86-90 at the end of the game. Strangely Marinos outrebounded Gigantes 37-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists.
