 Richard Lugo | The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Marinos (10-4) in Puerto La Cruz on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked Guaiqueries (5-7) 84-77. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-15. But Marinos won third quarter 25-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Marinos 45-30 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guaiqueries looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists.... |
