He try to played in the summer at Caciques de Humacao in Puerto Rican BSN league but had visa problems. The last season Melo was tested by Paulistano. The most of previous (13-14) season he spent at Texas Legends in D-League. In 20 games he averaged 5.5ppg and 3.9rpg in 2013-14 season.
